Mirdad enjoyed a hat-trick of wins and racked up numerous placings to make him leading rider for week one. On Thursday he won the 1.15m Elite Big Tour on Mirdads Hubbb Alrahmaaan, going clear in 54.87 while Tori Dunn was hot on his heels in second with Dstud Annushka, (0/61.17). Earlier this week, Dunn placed Dstud Annushka second in the 1.15 Elite Big Tour with Samir in third on Mirdads Hubbb Alrahmaaan.

Mirdad had taken fourth and fifth in the 1.10m Elite Small Tour with Uraeus and Mirdads Jebreel last Sunday and on Saturday placed third with Mirdads Sheeefff in the 1.10m Elite Small Tour (0/36.23). He was also 10th with Mirdads Jebreel (4/68.31) in the same competition.

Among Mirdad’s Samir’s wins was the 1.15m Elite Big Tour CSI** with Mirdads Lil MRL and he was also ninth in the class with Mirdads Hubbb Alrahmaaan.

He also won the 1.10m Elite Small Tour with Mirdads Sheeefff (0/53.11) and placed Mirdads Jebreeel second (0/5380), chased by Dunn in third on Dstud Annushka (0/55.16). Mirdad was second on Uraeus in the Big Tour with Dunn not far behind in fourth on Dstud Annushka.

Meanwhile, Sven Hadley enjoyed a string of wins and good results over the bigger tracks. Riding Castlefield Cassie, Hadley won two five-year-old classes and was third in both the 1.40cms seven-year-old final with Carla and the 1.25m small tour speed class with the nine-year-old Cheers Cassini gelding Cassintine.

In addition, he was sixth in the 1.35m and 10th in the 1.35m Premium Tour Grand Prix with Cassana.

Hadley also placed the 10-year-old bay Quentin gelding Quanbel seventh in the world ranking 1.45m Big Tour Steinfeld Championat jump-off class from 54 starters.
