Kenny second

OFFALY’s Darragh Kenny finished as the runner-up in last Saturday’s $100,000 Suncast 1.50m Classic, under the lights in the International Arena, aboard Kerry Anne LLC’s Bolero III.

In a nine-horse jump-off, Kenny broke the beam in 37.28 seconds aboard the 10-year-old by Chatman. Tipperary’s Kevin Babington was just one place behind Kenny in third on the Irish Sport Horse Mark Q (by OBOS Quality) with a double clear in 37.48 seconds.

Seventeen-year-old Lucy Deslauriers and Hester produced the quickest round against the clock to land the top honours.

Moloney third

KILKENNY’s Richie Moloney placed third in the $35,000 1.45m Classic aboard Equinimity LLC’s Ypaja Yando.

Moloney posted one of nine clear rounds in 66.77 seconds, behind America’s Jimmy Torano and Betagravin (0/ 64.53).
