Win for McAuley

LOUTH’s Mark McAuley and Jacintha VH Kriekenhof took the win in the 1.45m class in the CSI2* Gorla Minore in Italy, when clear in 62.59. The pair were less than a second faster than their closest rivals Italy’s Luigi Polesello and Panama Tame.

Later in the week, Thomas Ryan took third place in the 1.45m two phase, when he delivered a clear with C. Amelusina R60 in 28.70. Winner of the class was Marie Etter Pellegrin riding Alcazar Du Moulin, clear in 28.23.

Murphy placed at Canteleu

IRELAND’s Stephen Murphy and Rupacino finished in third place in CSI2* Canteleu, Normandy France, last week when they picked up a single time fault in the 1.25m on the Friday of the show.

Later in the week, he was just out of the top 10 in the 1.35m, when slotting into 11th with Chantelle, when clear in 69.54. On the final day, the pairing finished 12th in the 1.45m CSI2*.
