ON Thursday, Richard Howley got the ball rolling for the Irish side in Bonheiden, when he took the win in the CSI2* 1.45m with Arlo De Blondel after he delivered the fastest clear round in 61 seconds. Howley took home over €6,000 for his efforts.

Later in the day, Howley also took the win in the 1.35m class when he put in a faultless performance with Victory in 56.42.

On Sunday, Wexford’s Patrick Hickey took 10th place in the 1.45m jump-off class when he had one down with GRS Lady Amaro in 40.33.
