VERMONT Summer Festival proved to be happy hunting ground for Willie Tynan as he recorded a series of top wins over the course of the show.

Kicking off the week in the Grand Prix ring on Wednesday were Tynan and Ballinteskin Joe who effortlessly conquered the $5,000 Manchester Designer Outlets Open Welcome when they put in a faultless round in a time of 37.208. Not content with the win, he also finished in second place with Fenise, setting the bar high for success during his stay at the Festival.

Tynan dominated another featured jumper class on Friday, finishing one-two-three in the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix. He showed three horses in the class and posted a double-clear round in 38.63 aboard Ballinteskin Joe to take first place. He then took the runner-up spot with Fenise when clear in 38.76 and third with Fancy Girl, when clear in 39.36.

Continuing their unstoppable winning streak in the Grand Prix Ring on Saturday, Tynan and Ballinteskin Joe emerge victorious again in the $40,000 HITS Grand Prix. Crossing the line clear in 40.032 with no faults, he secured top honours with his strong ambition, experience, and drive that helped cement his supremacy throughout the week.

Taking the runner-up place was Amy Shafmaster and Casis, clear in 43.07, ahead of Ireland’s Christian Coyle and Locato Van Het Kapelhof, who had one down in 40.64.
