GALWAY show jumper Sven Hadley recorded four wins at the two-star show in Roeser, Luxembourg, last weekend.

The first of those came on Friday with the super consistent Irish Sport Horse Sumas Taloubet (Taloubet VDL x Pride of Shaunlara), two-time winner of the Spring Tour league, in the 1.35m Table A. The 13-year-old gelding’s time of 71.82 seconds was enough to earn him €1,250.

The following day he rode Victoria Z (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Rex Z) to victory in the 1.20m, before winning the 1.30m with Ganorad (Bacardi VDL x Undercover). Sumas Taloubet picked up two more good places – second in Saturday’s two-phase 1.40m with a double clear in 30.01 seconds and sixth in Sunday’s 1.45m Grand Prix.

Four faults in the first round, followed by a clear in the jump-off left them in sixth place. Victory went to Germany’s Steffen Hauter and Erik Der Rote (0/0 44.13). Hadley’s final win of the weekend came om Sunday’s 1.30m Accumulator, once again aboard Ganorad.
