NEAL Fearon scored a two-star win in Le Touquet, France, last week with Niall Talbot’s Billy On Time (Billy Congo x Any Time).
In Friday’s 1.40m, Fearon posted the quickest time of the day – 75.70 seconds – to secure just over €1,000 with the nine-year-old gelding.
Conor Drain finished in fourth place with Dakota V Schuttershot (78.07), and Declan McEvoy was back in seventh with the Irish Sport Horse BLM Cosmopolitan Dandy (79.45).
Drain picked up a number of other good placings, including sixth in Saturday’s 1.25m with Condavel when clear in 81.73 seconds.
Robert Harrison was also in action at the two-star venue and finished third in Saturday’s young horse 1.40m with Lil Wayne (Askari x Calvados II) when producing a double clear in 46.19. He also slotted into seventh with Caladin Z (0/8 44.25).
