MAYO’s Cameron Hanley and Arany de Kergane were among the winners at Vilamoura last week when they took the honours in the CSIYH* seven--year-old Table A 1.35m, delivering the winning clear in 61.21 seconds.
In third place were Anthony Condon and Friso in 63.96.
Later in the day, Condon also partnered Sfs Alra to a win in the CSI*** accumulator when they clocked 52.22.
Further down the line, Waterford’s Paul Beecher and Asti slotted into fifth when clear in 53.47.
In the CSIYH* five-year-old Table A class, Liam McKee and Eskers Little Miss Quality were best of the Irish in fourth, clear in 75.26, while in the later six-year-old two phase class, Joe Whitaker partnered Beecher’s Black Pearl Leone to a win, clear in 32.71. The combination repeated this performance later in the week in the 1.25m class.
Charles O’Reilly Hyland and Enigma finished fourth in the CSI*** Table A (238.2.1a) 1.20m, while Joanne Sloan-Allen and Vera took seventh place in the 1.30m.
Midweek, Hanley recorded another win in the 1.35m when he clocked 67.06 with Arany de Kergane.
