LONGFORD’s Aisling Byrne is enjoying a good outing in Oliva Valencia with a host of good results to show at the Spanish venue.

In the six-year-old class, she partnered Kappa Play into sixth while in the seven-year-olds 1.15m she took sixth with Derrick.

Further down the line was Tori Dunne with Fine Feeling in 11th. Later in the week, Byrne placed eight in the 1.25m with Deau.

In the 1.30m riding Wellview Classic Dream, a clear in 67.09 saw Byrne take the runner-up spot behind Uwe Kuhlemann Mann and Canberra 38 (66.97). Last Sunday the combination were back in the ribbons taking sixth in 1.40m

In the 1.35m seven-year-old jump-off class best of the Irish was Barry Drey and Okehurst Miss Mexico in fourth place, clear in 30.21.

The following day, this combination slotted into fifth when clear in 34.90. Drey was third in the 1.30 with Okehurst Unbelieveable, clear in 59.97 and later in the week, placed eighth in the 1.30m - Table C.

Kildare’s Niall Talbot had a fifth place finish with Nicos De La Cense in the 1.35 accumulator while Trevor Coyle and Usky Des Islots finished in 10th place in the 1.40m.

On Saturday, Galway’s Sven Hadley took third place in the 1.35m jump-off with Quanbell, clear in 37.85. Riding for Hadley’s Sport Horse, Tori Dunne piloted Bellscross Cruisedown to a win in the 1.15. Dunne went on to take second with Victoria in the 1.25 class.
