MUNSTER LEAGUE 1.20m
Equine Precision Joint
Solution Plus
ACTION in the Munster League 1.20M 360 Equine Precision Joint Solution Plus League came to a close at Maryville Stables last Sunday.
Anne Waistell of Munster Showjumping said: “It was a great league which gained great support and competition right from the very start in Ballylawn back in May. In the past, a lot of horses that have gone on to international level have come through leagues like this and that is why it is important to support things like this, Munster Show jumping is very grateful to Tim Murray and all the team at both 360 Equine Precision Joint Solution for their sponsorship.”
Waterford native and multiple times National Champion Francis Connors claimed the title of Munster show jumping 1.20M champion.
Connors said: “It is a great way to bring on our younger horses before bringing them onto next stage.”
Connors claimed both the first and second place in the leaderboard. He took the top spot with the Helen Connors-owned East Wind F and the second place with the John Douglas-owned Cavalier Royale Clover.
Young rider title
Winning the leading young rider title was another Waterford man, Nicholas Connors, with the Ann Connors-owned Just Jump, clocking up a total of 31 league points with placings in Ballylawn, Cork, Dungarvan, and victory at the final leg.
This year saw the introduction of a Pro-am leading rider with Helen Gould aboard her own Coolatten little George, picking up placings in Killeagh, Cork, and Banteer.
Founder of PJSI Cherie Hecht said: “We were delighted to be invited to sponsor the 1.20m division with our partners 360 Equine. The Munster League puts on a fantastic show series and for Precision Joint Solution International it was great to be able to support these horses and riders. With everything from ponies to a Grand Prix, this show always draws great horses and successful equestrians. We look forward to being a part again in the future.”
Tim Murray, managing partner with the sponsors, added: “360 Equine felt the sponsorship of the 2017 Munster 1.20 League was a great opportunity with our co-sponsor Precision Joint Solution International to promote both brands and in particular this unique product PJS+. The league comprised a high standard of riders and quality horses from a very vibrant show jumping scene covering the Munster region. It was a great success with high levels of participation week on week. The very hard working Munster league organizers were a pleasure to work with. We look forward to the future.”
