THE Warrington Spring League 2026 came to an exciting conclusion at Warrington Top Flight Equestrian Centre, with a superb standard of competition across all pony and horse divisions.

In the Newcomers sections, Heidi Moloney Power and four-year-old Lambay I’m Amazing claimed the 60cm Leading Rider title, while Hollie Rae Connolly partnered Bob Bob to take the top honours in the 70cm division.

The 128cm classes proved particularly competitive. Bella Shay Bradley and eight-year-old Russelstown Boy secured the 70cm Leading Rider title, while the final was won by Zach Moloney Power with Bob. In the 80cm, Emily O’Brien and six-year-old ECE Odessa claimed the Leading Rider award, with Rowan Foley-Fisher and Derrylangan Sparrow taking victory in the final. Taylor O’Neill dominated the higher divisions, securing both the 90cm and 1m Leading Rider titles with Bronheulog Limited Edition. The finals in both classes went to MJ Cloney and eight-year-old Miss Pebbles Cherie.

In the 138cm divisions, Doireann Quigley and Chrissy’s Friend secured the 80cm Leading Rider title and also took the win in the final. Ellie Rowe and Hamptons Flicka claimed the 90cm Leading Rider honours, while Sadhbh Roche and Boskill Queen B came out on top in the final. Sadhbh Dunphy and Kyle Hero proved a dominant partnership, taking both the 1m and 1.10m Leading Rider titles, while Lily Dooley and Blakeneys Templehill Cruise delivered standout performances to win both classes.

The 148cm sections were equally competitive. Katie Barrett and six-year-old Kilard Kadia secured the 80cm Leading Rider title, while the final was won by Dearbhla Rice and Blackilty. Mia Rowe and Wilma Misty claimed both the 90cm and 1m Leading Rider titles, with Louisa Daisy Dalton and Monarch of the Glen taking victory in both finals. In the 1.10m, Emily O’Keeffe and six-year-old Black Magic secured the Leading Rider title, while Ava O’Neill and Castlefield Moon took the win in the final, a combination that also went on to win the 1.20m final.

In the Horse classes, Lauren Conway and Brian Conway’s seven-year-old Mystical Lucy secured the Leading Rider titles in both the 80cm and 90cm divisions, while Joan Byrne and Nancys Boy and Pamela Brennan and Miranda De Reve respectively claimed the class wins. Rachel Hovenden and Penny took the 1m Leading Rider title, with Lexie Brennan and Ted winning the final. The 1.10m final went to Marie Hartley and Scarthill Vendi.

At the top end of the horse divisions, Isobel Hourigan and Wrenwood Jesse James delivered a standout performance, securing the 1.20m Leading Rider title and taking victory in both the 1.20m and 1.30m finals.
