ANNA Stillwell led the victory lap in the 1.20m at Barnadown, when she came home clear in 33.44 seconds in the two-phase class. A total of 79 went to post in this very competitive class and 16 delivered double clears. Sven Hadley was back in the ribbons when he secured the runner-up place with Machnus Lux in 33.55.

Eddie Moloney and Everdeen Waldstar took third when they stopped the clock in 34.13. Best of the young riders was Grace Ormond and Kylemore Lady with a clear in 37.24 for eventual fourth.

Taking fifth place was Julie O’ Sullivan Gallagher and Lux Lyk Foxrock, when they kept all the poles on the ground in 37.60. Completing the top six was Molly Taylor and Limitless, with a clear in 38.24. The highest placed six-year-old was Playboy ASJ, who was ridden by Lauren Adams and finished in eighth place with a clear in 38.46.

Amateur riders top 1.10m

Amateur riders took the first three places in the 1.10m class, which saw another big entry of 62. No stranger to the winner’s enclosure, Lisa Doyle (AA) took the win aboard the very consistent home-bred Ballinaguilkey Dignified with a clear in 25.67. Doyle was joined in the line-up by her sister Laura Walshe (AA), who delivered a clear in 30.06.

Another very consistent combination, Marie Hartley (AA) and Nikita Van Het Heidenhof took third with a clear in 30.20. Junior rider Dylan Barrett and China Man accounted for fourth place with a clear in 32.60.

Lisa Doyle (AA) took another place in the line-up with another home-bred, Ballinaguilkey Zorro, with a clear in 32.78. Doyle also shared first place in the four-year-old class with another home-bred, Ballinaguilkey Cardi, which will no doubt be one to watch for the future. Young rider Ruby Murphy and Unita -K - V Kattenheye took sixth place when clear in 33.28.

Winner of the six and seven-year-old Youngster Tour class was amateur rider Shauna Furlong (A) on her own seven-year-old LHE Bella Mon Ami, clear in 28.46.

A clear from Billy Sinnott and his own seven-year-old Ballyneety Quality Cloverquin took second place in 34.13. Alex Finney and the six-year-old Kinmar La Vida took third, with a clear in 37 seconds, ahead of James Dunne and the seven-year-old Oakwood Ace, clear in 38.20. Caoimhe Spacey and FWS Run Of the River slotted into fifth with a clear in 39.46, ahead of junior rider Conor Brennan and MHS Ophelia, clear in 39.53.
