This combination has demonstrated great form, taking third in the RDS qualifiers in Mullingar in June. Rory Lavery was back in the line-up, taking second with Eamonn Flynn’s homebred Creevagh For Sure-sired gelding Hugo Spritz on a score od 98.33.

Mikey Pender and his own Madgeslane Enzo took forth when awarded 96.67. Bred by Brendan Doyle, this gelding is by Madgeslane Luidam and out of Monbeg Sapphire. This pairing finished runners-up in the RDS qualifier In Barnadown.

Young rider Matthew Conlon and MAE Go With The Flo took fifth on a score of 91.67. Bred by Georgina and Rodney Gault, this mare is by Flonix and out of Lanmore.

Fellow young rider Launa McCann partnered Mickey Pender’s Madgeslane King into sixth on a score of 90.67. Bred by Bernie Pender, this gelding is also by Madgeslane Luidam and out of the Aldato-sired dam Ishd Caldato. This combination is also on the way to the Dublin Horse Show, having finished fifth in the qualifier at Mullingar.

Amateur rider John Jordan (AA) took the Callaghan Transport 1m championship when he partnered AJ True Grit to a clear in 22.94 seconds. He was chased home by fellow amateur rider Katy Nolan (A) and I’m A Quality Clover, when they came home clear in 24.06.

Junior rider, Lily Beatty and Sivann R accounted for third, with a clear in 24.09, ahead of Lorraine MacGuinness (A) and Horseware Kinmar Night, with a clear in 26.95.

Hannah Reid and Amigo VH Winkenshof Z slotted into fifth, when clear in 27.13, while in sixth was amateur rider Courtney Sloan (A) and Golden Korona with a clear in 30.57.
