KILLOSSERY Lodge hosted their Autumn Show jumping Championships last weekend over the course of the two-day show. The opening Stephen Comerford-sponsored 90cm class on Saturday saw 20 combinations go to post. Taking the win was amateur rider Marie Hartley (AA) with Little Miss Captain Junior when clear in 35.65. She was chased home by Conor Close and Bluestone Mary Fly, who also kept the poles in place in 38.43. Harry Dunne and Millfield Dutchy took third with a clear in 40.54.

Winner of the proceeding €500 Gourmet Food Bar 1m class was amateur rider Aoife Maguire (AA) and Pharos Hazy Cove when fastest of seven double clears in 31.66. Marie Hartley returned to take second with Little Miss Captain (34.20), ahead of Liz Keegan Comerford and Edoxtown Cash Cruise (35.52).

Claiming victory in the €500 Gloss Ear Bonnets 1.10m class was Colm Fitzpatrick. He guided the eight-year-old Bluestone Diamond Fly to a clear in 34.97. Not content with the win, he also took third with Maretto Flight when fastest of the four-faulters in a blistering 33 seconds. Sarah Duffy filled second place with Shanbo What a Prince with a clear in 41.80.

There were no double clears in the €300 Swords Traffic Management Vehicles 1.20m, but Jack M Murphy and Momo proved fastest of the four-faulters in 39.04 to take the win. Also carrying four faults, but in a slower time of 40.67, was Sarah Fleming and Hes A Steel to finish second.

Attention then moved to Sunday and taking the win in the Ace Heating and Pluming 90cm was Craig Ennis and Meko with the only clear round against the clock in 39.43. In second was junior rider Conor Close and Bluestone Mary Fly (0/4 35.77).

Claiming victory in the A84 Restaurant €500 1m was Aoife Maguire (AA) and Pharos Hazy Cove when fastest of seven double clears in a time of 32.07. The runner-up place was filled by Kevin O’Reilly (AA) and Cranny West, clear in 33.06. Conor Close also featured in this line-up when taking third with Bluestone Mary Fly (36.45).

Brian Cassidy took the win in the Botanica-sponsored Cavan Amateur Qualifier. Riding Bridgemans Olympic Star, he lodged the fastest of five double clears in 38.83. Edwina O’Connor (A) and Ashwood Reggie claimed the runner-up spot in 42.21. Winner of the €500 Equivet Ireland 1.10m was Lisa Doyle [AA] and Ballinaguilkey Dignified when they were fastest of 14 double clears in 34.91. It was a good outing for Colm Fitzpatrick, as he accounted for the next two placings with Bluestone Diamond Fly (34.93) and Maretto Flight (35.29).

Taking the win in the €500 Cooper Dublin 1.20m two-phase was John Murray and Bukhara Cruise, when clear in 38.10. Sven Hadley also put in a clear with the six-year-old Toleen St in 41.79 for second. Amateur rider Jacqueline Malone (AA) and Ramako Vd Berghoeve accounted for third when they came home with all the poles in place in 49.47.
