THREE Top Score competitions were held over the two days of last weekend’s AIRC Festival in Mullingar.

Before his partner, Chloe Rice, was on the winning Coole Lane team in the Premier Performance RDS team show jumping wildcard qualifier on Saturday, Charlie Watts gave the club a comprehensive win in the morning’s RC100 class, where he accumulated 690 points on the 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Srilanka Rebble Doc (by Dondoctro Ryak K).

Representing Tir Conaill, Bruce Vial had only 10 points in hand over his nearest rival when he won the following RC110/RC120 competition on his nine-year-old ISH gelding Leestone Treble C (Cornet Obolensky - Ballintogher Whattababe, by Cruising). On Sunday, Waterford’s Louise Moran won the RC90 by a 10-point margin on her 10-year-old ISH mare Spirit Nala (Simba - Justin The Spirit, by Taproot Greenmount Boy).
