CONGRATULATIONS to Shauna Kidd and Good News Scotty who won the 110 Open performance hunter class at the Meath Hunt Performance Derby Show in Nugentstown for the second year in-a-row recently, and to her 10-year-old daughter Alenka Tvrda Kidd who took Scotty to a pony club show on the same track in Nugentstown the following week and placed second in the 80cm class out of a big entry of over 40.

“He’s a diamond of a horse!” reported Shauna’s mother Jayne Kidd who, too, has ridden the grey to success over the years, mainly as a member of Ashbrook Riding Club.

Good News Scotty was bred by John Gavin and is by Last News (TB). He and Shauna qualified for the lightweight working hunter horse class at Dublin this year and placed 9th. Alenka is a member of the Ward Union Branch of the Irish Pony Club.
