THE 19th Saintfield Christmas Charity Ride was an incredible success with gorgeous weather and not one drop of rain.

The atmosphere at the new venue of Mary Mother of the Church in Saintfield, Co Down was electric, with masses of Santas taking part.

After a mulled wine and mince pie reception and Christmas music ringing out, the Santas moved off on an enjoyable three-mile hack led by the real Santa in a fabulous Denamona Carriage, driven by Tommy and Sammy Irwin.

He arrived into Saintfield to be greeted by Hugo Duncan, Boxcar Brian, Gerard Dornan and crowds of people lining the street to enjoy the most amazing spectacle.
