WHILE he will be keeping half an eye on the Goresbridge Go For Gold next week, Co Wexford show horse breeder/producer John Roche will be more occupied with the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale, where he is consigning two bay colt foals who he bred in partnership with his mother Mary Margaret.

Selling at that sale on Monday is Lot 175 who is by Sea Moon out of the unraced Cheryls Island.

That Trans Island mare has bred three winners from three runners, including Anxious Moment, who has scored twice recently over hurdles in the colours of J P McManus.

Lot 507, who comes up on Wednesday, is by Santiago out of the also unraced Judy’s Oscar (by Oscar), a half-sister to the seven-time winning blacktype hurdler, Get Me Out Of Here.
