NIF to raise funds for Air Ambulance NI

THE organisers of the twentieth running of the Northern Ireland Festival, which will take place at Cavan Equestrian Centre from May 1st to 3rd, are once again offering a laminating service for competitor numbers as a fundraiser for the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland Charity.

It has proved to be a very popular initiative in the past, never more so than when it rains, and there will once again be no set charge for the service. Instead, donations are at individuals’ discretion. Last year, £1,105 was raised for the charity, which provides such an excellent service across Northern Ireland, regularly saving lives and limbs and helping those who suffer head injuries.

While we’re here, a big shout-out to the organisers for the very smart, eye-catching logo designed to celebrate the 20th running of the Festival.
