CONGRATULATIONS to Sue Foley of Clonshire Equestrian Centre, who recently won the Network Ireland Limerick Established Business Woman of the Year award.
The award is sponsored by AIB and is aimed at driving and recognising the professional and personal development of women. Sue will now go forward to the National Business Woman of the Year awards in Galway in September.
“It’s so nice that a more rural section is represented in the professional space,” Foley said.
“I have been lucky enough to have grown and developed Clonshire Equestrian Centre in Adare for over 30 years, so this award really meant a lot to me.
“We are committed to education and training and to providing top-class facilities for riders of all levels. We have just had the Irish Pony Club International Minimus Event, so it was a busy few weeks. We are members of AIRE and the BHS and have been approved to hold BHS Stage 4 and now BHS Stage 5, the first in the country, which will really help improve the level of coaching here.”
