JENNIFER de’Courcey of Cleggan, Co Galway, who died tragically in June, has been remembered by Araglen Pony Club as a remarkable young woman whose kindness, dedication and passion touched the lives of so many.

“As an instructor at Araglen Pony Club, Jennifer did far more than teach children to ride,” Susan Cashman said on behalf of the Club. “She inspired confidence, encouraged perseverance and created a safe and welcoming environment where young riders could learn, grow and develop a lifelong love of horses. Her patience, warmth, and gentle encouragement made every child feel valued and capable.

“Jennifer’s legacy lives on in every child she encouraged, every rider she taught and every life she touched with her generosity and kindness. She will be remembered not only as a talented instructor, but as a beautiful person whose compassion and dedication made the world a better place.

“Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her mum Angela, her partner Brendan, her siblings Joey, Krystle and Liam, her extended family and loved ones.

“Rest in peace, Jennifer. You will always be remembered, greatly missed and forever cherished.”

In memory of Jennifer, Angela and Brendan recently accepted a contribution to the Irish Horse Welfare Trust donated by Araglen Pony Club (pictured).
