APOLOGIES to the Carrickmines quartet who won the Premier Performance RDS team show jumping championship wildcard qualifier at the recent AIRC Festival as it wasn’t their photograph which accompanied the article!

Briefly the squad was captained by Selina Osborne who works for an Irish health food retail chain and purchased her 2014 Harlequin du Carel mare RTS Lisa from breeder Derek Baskin as a five-year-old. Lisa is delighted to have qualified for the RDS for the fourth year in-a-row.

Martina Delaney, a busy mother of three, also bought her very versatile Connemara gelding Branraduff Bob (by Drymills Bridgeboy) as a five-year-old and shares the ride on the now 13-year-old dun, who is described as a bit of an escape artist, with her two daughters.

Aigul Campbell, a riding instructor at the club’s base of the Carrickmines Equestrian Centre, has had the 20-year-old Kings Cross (by Romabo) on loan for almost three years.

Abbi Cocking, a fourth year veterinary student at UCD, has had the 2015 S Creevagh Ferro mare Creevagh Bliss for five years.
