PAT Walsh is retiring this year as Area 3 Representative to the Irish Pony Club and Branches in the Area have been paying tribute to him.

The West Waterfords made a presentation to Pat at the Area’s Classic show jumping qualifier in Sceilig last month, commenting: “We were delighted today to have the opportunity to celebrate our wonderful Area 3 Representative, Pat Walsh, who is retiring this year... We would like to thank Pat sincerely for all his time, hard work and dedication over the years.”

In its post on Facebook, the North Kilkenny Branch said: “Thank you so much Pat Walsh for your unwavering commitment to the Irish Pony Club, Area 3 and our North Kilkenny Pony Club over the years. Your work as our Area Representative has always gone above and beyond; you have always been in the background, helping to keep our Branch running smoothly.”

Prior to taking up the role as Area Representative, Pat was a District Commissioner of the Tipperary Branch.
