MAYO’s Katie Nallon emerged as the winner of Saturday’s feature class at Millstreet CSI2*, the Clip My Horse 1.35m two-phase. Going early in the class, she maintained her lead with Bob Sweeney’s 10-year-old ISH mare Mulvin Cliodam (Luidam), bred by Richard Smyth, delivering the winning round in 31.32.
Late to go in the class, Camryn Clarke and Conto De Reve had to contend with second when he lodged a clear in 31.48. Third place was filled by Daisy McNamara and Caspetito Z, clear in 31.82, ahead of Rhys Williams and Dominante Z (32.03). A clear in 32.77 from Senan Reape and Ceanna Bonneville PS saw them secure fifth, while in sixth was Shane O’Reilly and Lancer Luck (32.84).
Earlier in the day, Isabelle Boland took the win in the Irish Horse Board 1.25m Table A jump-off. Riding Fiona Boland’s eight-year-old gelding MBF Maxwill she was one of only six double clears in 35.01 seconds.
Boland was chased home by Denise Hopkins and MD Sandyhill Princess Mia in 35.40. Little divided the next placing as Billy Sinnott and Ridge Douglas Lady came home in 35.52 for third place. A clear from Jenny Connors and Fortnight in 36.78 saw her take fourth, while in fifth was Wesley Ryan and SVS Je Taime Castlefield (38.94). Rounding off the top six was Anna Baynes and Lochan Ramiro in 41.49.
Killeen in from
On Sunday, Aidan Killeen and his own eight-year-old gelding MBF Masserati lead the victory lap in the 1.35m Table A, when double clear in 41.34 seconds. Shane Moloney was less than a second behind was Rosco Galways Glory who kept all the poles in place in 42.20.
A clear from Maeve Clarke and Ukato Cruise in 43.06 saw them take third ahead of Lt James Bracken and Sea Whitestrand, clear in 44.73. Chloe Fagan and Fernhill Holly Chay came home with nothing to add in 45.77 for fifth, ahead of Damien Patrick Griffin and Kilnamac Louis, (47.74).
