The Irish Horse Board Table A 1.25m class went down to the wire, with the top six coming home clear within the 34-second mark. Taking the win was Jenny Connors aboard Fiona Carew’s 10-year-old gelding Fortnight, when they clocked 33.06.
Connors denied Sven Hadley another win, when he partnered Maximum Numero Too HSH to a clear in 33.33 for the runner-up position. Liam O’Meara was also looking for another victory, but a clear with BE Flygold in 33.34 was only good enough to take third place. Sean Dooley and Indie Girl finished fourth when stopping the clock in 33.40. Accounting for fifth was Shane O’Reilly and BWE Vain Hero (33.73). Charles O’Reilly Hyland finished sixth aboard Penelope 33.73.
