CIARAN Nallon didn’t waste any time when winning Thursday’s one-star six and seven-year-old 1.25m/1.30m two-phase special class at the two-star show at Riesenbeck International in Germany on Ogana Sitte Sr, with Michael G Duffy on Mcgyver slotting into fourth. The one-star Small Tour 1.30m class saw Duffy ride CSF Andrew into fourth place, while the one-star Light Tour 1.20m class saw James Connors Smyth place seventh on Conrad 182.

Nallon bookended the competition with another win on the final day, Saturday, in the one-star Final Youngster Tour six and seven-year-old 1.30m/1.35m class, on board Ogana Sitte Sr. The rider also placed fourth in the class with Little Special In Red M.

Nallon also placed ninth in the one-star Final Small Tour 1.35m two-phase class riding Forlee, while Connors Smyth on Trouble Lady Eq Z finished fifth in the one-star Final Light Tour 1.25m two-phase class.

Turkington placed

Meanwhile at Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in Kronenberg in The Netherlands, Emily Turkington and Vanilla placed seventh in Saturday’s one-star 1.35m jump-off class, Turkington secured another seventh place in the one-star Medium Tour 1.25m two-phase special on board Diwali de Runya.
