IRISH riders were among the 16 nations who competed at the first week of the inaugural Lavanttal Show jumping Festival held at the Stückler Riding Stables in St Margarethen in Austria last weekend.
Anna Duff competed with TMS Pienaar ( I’m Special De Muze x Womanizer) in the Youngster Tour seven-year-old classes, being among 11 joint winners in the 1.25m opening class on Thursday and finishing on the podium in third in the 1.30m speed class on Friday.
Charlotte Coffey placed sixth in Friday’s Under 25 1.40m EY Cup speed class with That’s Mie Z (That’s Life x Numero Uno), while Duff featured again in the 1.45m jump-off class, this time riding BEC Lenka into fourth place.
Saturday saw Duff and TMS Pienaar place sixth in the Youngster Tour Final seven-year-old 1.35m class.
Coffey took the runner-up position in Sunday’s Under 25 1.45m EY Cup Grand Prix on board That’s Mie Z. The pair were only bettered by Italy’s Andrea Lanza on Hackeur de Keroredan.
