WEEK three of the 2025 Moura Tours in Valencia Autumn Tour was held from November 4th until 9th and saw a number of Irish riders secure top-10 finishes to bring home ribbons. Tuesday’s one-star young horse seven and eight-year-old 1.30m speed class saw Emma O’Dwyer on Cava placing sixth of the 39 starters, with a clear round in 63.65.

In Wednesday’s one-star young horse five-year-old 1.10m two-phase special, Caitlin Glennon rode Koh Lanta de Kreisker into 10th place, with a double clear in 32.16, while in the six-year-old 1.20m jump-off class, O’Dwyer rode Odiorette-W into ninth place, with a double clear in 40.10.

The day’s seven and eight-year-old 1.30m jump-off class saw a good result for the Irish, with Alexander Butler placing third on Maceo du Chapitre, followed by O’Dwyer on Cava in fourth.

The first division of Thursday’s three-star Medium Tour 1.40m two-phase special saw Mark McAuley on l’Arc En Ciel Z finish fourth, followed by O’Dwyer on Dougie Drea in sixth place out of 52 starters.

In Friday’s three-star Big Tour 1.45m speed class, Harry Allen and Guerlain de Kreisker finished in 10th place.

Allen then rode Calculatus into third place in Saturday’s 36-strong three-star Medium Tour 1.35m speed class, while O’Dwyer and Down Under Z finished 10th in the first division of the Medium Tour 1.40m jump-off class of 49 starters and Billy Twomey placed sixth in the second division of the class with Jumping Jack van de Kalevallei, which had 48 participants.

Sunday’s three-star Big Tour 1.45m speed class saw Butler place sixth of the 61 on the start list with Django Hero Z, with Allen riding Jellycat des Etangs into fifth place in the 28-strong one-star Classic Tour 1.20m jump-off class.
