KELLEY Hutchinson scored a double at her first event on Irish soil this year, when she won both the EI100 and the EI90 at Flowerhill. Her winner of the EI100 was the six-year-old Eventing Ireland debutante Aslan Van’t Heiderroosjes, who led after the first phase on a score of 28.3 and went on to finish on it.

Michael McNally was only a fraction of a mark in arrears on his first outing with Gina Heaps’ Carrowgar Oresta, second on 28.9, while Sarah Kehoe was third by the same distance with the traditionally-bred Tievenny Boswinger Lady. David Raeburn took another fourth place aboard Glountane Corellie D on 30.3, ahead of Hutchinson again, also fifth with the five-year-old Sunhill Shiloh on 30.5.

Eye-catching

The eye-catching strawberry roan five-year-old HSH Washington topped the leaderboard for Hutchinson in the EI90, where the combination finished on their dressage score of 30.5.

Rosie Alcorn added a second place to her tally here on a new ride for her, Katie Thompson’s BVS Fairway, whom she had only sat on for the first time five days previously, while Caitlin Tighe took third with Drumagoland Candy Girl.

Grace Purwal executed the only double clear among the seven starters in the EI80 to finish at the top of the standings with Well Worth It, winning by a margin of almost eight marks over Jane Field and the Connemara Clonmoylan Red Hugh.

In the Treo Eile Thoroughbred EI100, Emily Murphy’s excellent dressage score of 22.8 with Lilly Bobtail allowed her to maintain her lead, despite the addition of penalties in both jumping phases.

Double Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Al Boum Photo rose from fourth after dressage to second here with Louise Duffy, the combination adding nothing to their first-phase score to finish on 31.5.
