THE winners of the Dressage Ireland South Munster Region awards at last Saturday’s regional show at Ballindenisk were as follows:

Trailblazers - Rebecca Fleming with Orla Whelton’s 17-year-old part-bred Welsh mare Whiteleaze Secret Temptation (Mini); Stephanie Fleming with Orla Whelton’s 14-year-old grey mare Miss Money Penny (Under 12s’ Preliminary); Lily McLaughlin with Susan McLaughlin’s 17-year-old Welsh Section D gelding Camarnaint Rambler (Under 12s’ Novice); Amy Hearne with Jayne Hearne’s 15-year-old Welsh gelding Brandon Zimbabwe (Junior Preliminary); and Clara Nyhan with Emily Nyhan’s six-year-old Connemara mare Galtee Honey (Junior Novice).

Juniors - Maria Fleming Hand with Tracy Fleming Hand’s 12-year-old Connemara mare Anbally Silver Grey (Novice); Aoibhinn Schweppe with Melanie Schweppe’s 11-year-old Anglo European Warmblood gelding Billy Winchester (Elementary and Medium).

Graded levels - Maire Scanlon with her own 15-year-old Connemara mare Curravordy Maxeen (Intro); Anna Dangerfield with Emer Howard’s eight-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Sammys Dream (Preliminary); Stephanie Cunningham with her five-year-old bay mare Ballymacadam BFM Lily (Novice); Aine Griffin with her own 14-year-old Selle Francais gelding Cocktail de Riverland (Elementary); Rosemarie Ahern O’Gorman with her 11-year-old thoroughbred gelding Khwarizimi (Medium); and Cliona Ni Liathain with her 13-year-old ISH mare MJI Lady Alceis (Advanced Medium).
