DERRA Farm Equestrian in Co Kerry was the venue last Sunday for a low-key North Munster Region show where Ann Glynn (List 3A) awarded her day’s top score of 69.38% to Tracey Quinn on her two rides in the Preliminary DI18.

Quinn achieved this mark, and the same collective score of 62, on her 10-year-old cob mare Rosnakill Black Beauty Girl and on the unregistered Irish Sport Horse gelding West Coast Darling, a Craigsteel eight-year-old who she also started competing this season with Showjumping Ireland.

Saibh Prenderville won both the five-strong Trailblazer Under 12s’ Preliminary DI5A (69.29%) and the three-runner Novice DI21 (67.93) on the unregistered ISH mare Sunny Girl, a 17-year-old daughter of Wings of Justice who she also events as a member of The Kingdom Branch of the Irish Pony Club.

There were three starters in the Novice DI24A and the Elementary DI52 which, on 69.17% and 68.89, Ella Brosnan won with the nine-year-old chesnut gelding Cusack Boy. There were just two starters in both Medium classes won by Eliza Neumann on her Dutch Warmblood gelding Opal, a six-year-old tall bay son of Glock’s Dream Boy.
