DRESSAGE Ireland have already begun publicising their National Championships Festival at Castle Irvine, Necarne, although that seasonal highlight doesn’t take place until Wednesday, August 12th to Sunday, August 16th.

The first two days of the Festival will be dedicated to youth championships, with senior riders taking over at the weekend. The Northern Region of DI are holding their NAF-sponsored two-day Festival at the Co Fermanagh estate over the weekend of July 11th and 12th.

Today, the Northern Region is holding the only DI-affiliated show of the weekend, at Danescroft EC. Next Saturday, the Eastern Region is running its monthly show at Marlton, followed on Sunday by leg two of the North Munster Region’s summer league at Clonshire and a Leinster Region show at Redhills Stud.

Two dressage displays are scheduled to take place in the P&O Ferries Arena at next week’s Balmoral Show. The first is due to start at 1pm on the opening day of the four-day show, Wednesday, May 13th, with the second listed for 2pm on Friday.
