TWO Dressage Ireland-affiliated shows are taking place this weekend, North Munster holding the third leg of their summer league today at Garranemore while, tomorrow, the South East Region are running a show at Barnadown.

The Leinster Region have the stage to themselves next weekend as they stage their popular Botanica Summer Festival at CoilÓg, where there will be something for everyone. That includes the CoilÓg Arena Cafe, which will open all weekend.

Over the two days, championship classes were advertised from Preliminary to Big Tour, for Grades I to V Para riders and for FEI Junior, Children and Pony riders (one test each day). On Saturday, there will be young horse and Trailblazers’ classes with Freestyle classes featuring on Sunday. There will also be non-championship Preliminary to Medium level classes both days.

The following judges have been engaged for the Festival: Maria Eilberg (British Dressage List 1), Bernie Foley (Saturday), Jean Halpenny (Sunday), Lucinda Webb-Graham, Joanne Jarden, Michael Hu, Jillie Rogers (Saturday), the Chairperson of Dressage Ireland Mark Ruddock (British Dressage List 1) and Alison Thorne.
