Grace is the star of the show

WHILE organiser Courtney Akkari provided an excellent commentary to Friday’s dressage display and Grand Prix rider David Freeney performed all the movements requested, plus conducting a question and answer session while mounted, their efforts were overshadowed.

The star of the show it seems was Courtney’s niece Grace Jackson who performed a display to music on her mother Kirsty’s 16-year-old Connemara gelding Stracomer Super Mario. Grace is a granddaughter of the show’s very busy performance classes’ course builder Adrienne Stuart one of whose other duties would have been to prepare the P & O Ferries Arena for the dressage display.
