THE Association of Irish Riding Clubs’ Grassroots Jump Training Series will return next month for a third year. Premier Performance will be the official sponsor of the AIRC Grassroots Training Series, with funding from Sport Ireland and Horse Sport Ireland, which made the series possible.
Zoe Grogan, manager for Premier Performance, said: “Premier Performance is delighted to announce our official sponsorship of the AIRC Grassroots Training Series. At Premier Performance, we believe in supporting the amateur rider - where passion, determination, and hard work come together. The Grassroots Training Series perfectly embodies that spirit, and we’re proud to support the riders driving the future of the sport.
“This partnership reflects our continued commitment to the AIRC community, and we look forward to an exciting season ahead. Let’s build something great together. Use discount code AIRC20 for 20% off our products online at www.premierperformance.ie.”
The series provides members with a great opportunity to compete and train with an accredited coach offering real-time feedback in a competition environment. A series of qualifiers will take place ahead of the final on Saturday, November 8th at Emerald Equestrian in Co Kildare.
There will be competitions catering for RC 70 up to RC 110 graded riders, across three competitions, in show jumping, with training bursaries on offer for those who qualify for the final.
Participants at each qualifier and the final will receive feedback from an accredited coach, while they will also be assessed with marks awarded for style, effectiveness of riding, and the quality of the horse’s jump and paces. Any penalties will also be factored into the equation to determine a result for the competition.
A full list of dates will be published in the coming weeks. You can find the information, once available, on the website https://airc.ie/grassrootsseries/
