WELL done to all the budding artists at Clarina Equestrian who took part in their colouring competition last week. International show jumper Paul O’Shea, who started his career at Clarina, was a judge, alongide show jumper Daniel Coyle and Judi McGetrick.

Paul judged seven-year-old Saoirse Kenny as the winner of the five to seven-year-old section. Abbie Corbett was chosen as the eight to 10-year-old winner by Judi, while Daniel handed first prize in the 11 to 13-year-old section to Emily Franklin, and Kelly Shanahan in the 14 to 16-year-old competition.

In a video annoucing the winner, Paul said he choose Saoirse’s picture because it reminded him of a pony he used to ride in Clarina named Champ.

When the centre celebrated their 40 year anniversary last May, Paul sent Mary his runner-up rosette from a Grand Prix with a message that said: ‘Mary, thank you for the great start’.
