THE Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society will hold their very first online Connemara Pony Stallion Parade tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd.

With the cancellation of the annual CPBS Spring Festival and many more shows and events due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CPBS have decided to take the parade online and showcase the native breed stallions.

Open to all Class 1 and Class 2 stallion, the criteria involve taking a video recording of the pony, maximum of three minutes line, which should include a walk around the pony to show him, a walk and trot, or the pony can also be ridden.

The CPBS also ask that stallions must be clean and turned out to show standard and shown in a bridle, while handlers must dress appropriately.

The virtual parade will take place on the C.P.B.S.R. Facebook group page from 12pm on Sunday, May 3rd to 9pm on Monday, May 4th. Videos can be posted at any time during that time and must be submitted for approval prior to publishing.
