A LARGE crowd attended the Tipperary Foxhounds Master’s Party and Hunt Auction at the lovely venue of The Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles, last Saturday.

The evening kicked off with a wine, cheese and finger food reception hosted by the hunt masters, amid delightful background music.

Liam Kearney then welcomed everyone and thanked all of those who gave the Lots up for auction. He also thanked the farmers and landowners for allowing the hunt cross their land, going on to explain the format of the evening. Those wishing to bid were asked to move into the adjoining Derrynaflan suite. John Fitzgerald and Nick Maher alternately sold the 135 Lots. The variety was amazing and varied both in value and content.

After the auction, the party continued on with much hilarity and enjoyment and thank you to all who gave the Lots and those who supported this event in any way.
