THE ISPCA launched a social media campaign to celebrate World Animal Week (October 4th–10th) coinciding with the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals on World Animal Day, October 4th.

ISPCA Ambassador Rosanna Davison, Michele McGrath and Suzanne Jackson showed their support and are calling out to all animal lovers to get behind such a worthy cause and make a difference during World Animal Week. You can help in so many ways from volunteering to rehoming a rescued animal, by making a donation or simply giving your pet some extra attention.

ISPCA’s Carmel Murray said: “The ISPCA is asking all animal lovers to celebrate the wonderful role our pets play in our lives by posting a picture or video of themselves with their adorable pets to share online using #GiveThemAVoice. We want to hear how much your pets mean to you, or even what you think they would say if they could talk to you, so get involved and let us know @Ispca1 on Twitter, or @ispca_official on Instagram so we can see your amazing contributions.”

You can support the ISPCA during World Animal Week by texting ISPCA to 50300 to donate €4. ISPCA will receive a minimum of €3.25. Visit www.ispca.ie for more information.
