A DATE for your diaries – The Irish Donkey Sanctuary is hosting it’s Teddy Bears’ Picnic on Thursday, July 5th. Without a doubt, this is the most popular event in the calendar at the Sanctuary, a super family event not to be missed.

Activities will include colouring corner, face painting, treasure hunt, donkey grooming and music and more.

At the Teddy Bear Hospital an expert vet team will give your special bear a check-up.

There will be prizes on the day so don’t forget to enter your teddy in the competitions for best dressed teddy or best look-a-like teddy and owner.

Come and meet all the donkeys and mules at the Co Cork venue and dogs are very welcome once on the lead.

As always, teas/coffees, snacks, ice creams and donkey related souvenirs can be bought in the Visitor Centre. All funds raised go towards the care of welfare of the donkeys and mules.

The picnic will run from 12-3pm and admission is €5 per child. Adults go free.

Events at The Donkey Sanctuary are weather dependent so check social media and www.thedonkeysanctuary.ie near for updates.
