IT has been busy and hectic times for the Bloomer family and Brennanstown Riding School lately.

Louise and Gerald eventually set off for The Netherlands last Sunday week to compete at Boekelo, having hitched last minute lifts (the planned transport became unavailable on the day due to unforeseen circumstances).

Thanks to Sarah Ennis and Tegan White-McMorrow who stepped in to save the day, they competed at the event which was fantastic by all accounts and flew back late on Sunday night.

Meanwhile. Brennanstown was the venue for the second leg of the Hollybrook Riding Club’s Inter Club Dressage League that day. Gerald then gave a training clinic for AIRE at Spruce Lodge with Louise as one of his demo riders the next day.

On Tuesday, Brennanstown hosted a BHS Stage 4 exam for external candidates, so it was all go.

Spare a thought for their mother, Jane, who was not allowed travel to Boekelo due to a rotational fall on slippy kitchen tiles three weeks ago and is still recuperating from post concussion syndrome and a fractured rib!

Never a dull moment at Brennanstown Riding School.
