MEMBERS of the North East Knowledge Transfer Group visited Drumhowan Stud, Co Monaghan, last Saturday. Proprietors Eamon and Gladys McArdle showed their extensive range of Irish Draught, Irish Sport Horse, continental and thoroughbred stallions. These included Vittorio (pictured), Primary and Colandro who were recently approved at the HSI Stallion Inspections in Cavan. The visit to Drumhowan was an additional activity organised by members of the group, outside of the registered KT meetings and demonstrates the success of this scheme in encouraging breeders to work together.
