FAMILY and friends were delighted to learn of the engagement of Jennifer Micklem Diamond and Richard Bonham over St Patrick’s weekend.

Jennifer is the daughter of well known equestrian coach Derval Diamond and John Micklem while Richard is the son of Amanda and John from Castlepollard, Co Westmeath.

Jennifer, a keen event rider and coach, is a journalist with The Irish Field and Irish Farmers Journal while Richard, a solicitor in practice in Mullingar, is also the huntsman of the Lakeland Foot Beagles.

The delighted young couple thanked everyone for their good wishes.
