HATS off to everyone who attended a two-day eventing clinic at Killossery Lodge which also raised the hefty sum of €1,320 for the David Foster Injured Riders’ Fund.
Olympian Jonty Evans and international event rider Ciaran Glynn hosted the clinic which saw 82 people turn out.
There was much fun when Jonty raffled off the hat he wore at the Rio Olympics which was won by Terri Brosnan, who runs the Equine Unit in Child Vision, Drumcondra – a centre which assists children with special needs. Jonty’s famous hat will be put on display at the centre to inspire these brave youngsters of what they can achieve in life.
“Siobhan from the Gourmet Food Bar donated her takings from the two days. We raised €1,320 for the David Foster Injured Riders Fund.
“So a huge thank you to all that made it possible – Ciaran Glynn, Jonty Evans and Killossery Lodge Stud,” said organiser Zoe Grogan.
