DESPITE the snow showers mixed with sunshine, spring is in bloom everywhere.

This fine Connemara colt foal by Gwennic de Goariva has been named Ballymahon Rebel by his proud breeder Ray Menton.

Born shortly before Easter, the colt’s dam sire is Drimcong Owen.
