THE Meadows Equestrian Centre in Lurgan is the venue for Arena Eventing on Sunday, May 1st next and it’s hoped that as many riders as possible will turn out to support it. The day starts at 10am with classes from 60cm to one-metre.

All proceeds from the event are in aid of a new charity, The Irish Equestrian Mental Health Project. The main purpose of the project is to provide children and adults within the equestrian community in Ireland with the right tools, support and training they need to cope with a variety of mental health matters.

The arena eventing day comprises a mixture of show jumping and cross-country fences and it’s a great opportunity to try something different.
