She hopefully will progress further through this third series of the show as a member of Team Bressie.

The 20-year-old from Clontarf is studying music at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music on Francis Street in Dublin; she plays guitar and describes her style of singing as contemporary country.

Heather explains that her hours aren’t too arduous so she has time to ride her horse, Diagon Alley, every day. Purchased four months ago, the five-year-old skewbald mare, who is by Cavalier Two For Joy out of a Ballinvella dam, is kept on livery at John Carey’s Kinsealy Riding Centre.

Heather has been riding all her life and, for four years, represented the Holy Faith Clontarf in inter-schools’ show jumping. Last Sunday, she and Diagon Alley finished fourth for Cheval in the advanced primary class at the North East Region/Equipet league in Broadmeadow Equestrian Centre.
