HAVING featured in this column last week regarding the presentation at Tattersalls to St Francis Hospice, the Ward Union Hunt was associated with another fundraiser last Sunday.

Over 100 horse and pony riders participated in the annual Garristown cross-country run, organised by members of the Wards and the Fingal Harriers.

Afterwards, a cheque for €500 was presented to the local St Mary’s Primary School and the Community Council.

There were a large number of children on the run which was generally regarded as “a fantastic day and a great rural community day out”.
