Northern activities to resume in February

AREA 17 of The Pony Club, Northern Ireland, recently published its list of Area competitions for 2020 which start on Saturday, February 22nd when the North Derry Branch will host the annual quiz at a venue yet to be confirmed.

A week later, the Seskinores are hosting the winter series dressage at the Ecclesville Equestrian Centre in Fintona (Saturday, February 29th) and the indoor season will conclude on Sunday, March 15th when the winter series show jumping competition is being hosted by the East Down Branch at Portmore EC.

Fast forward to Saturday, May 23rd when the Meadows EC is the venue for the Area mounted games competition which will be hosted by the Fermanagh Harriers Branch.

July is set to be a very busy month for members and their supporters. The Area eventing competition will be hosted by the Killultaghs at Ballyvannon Equestrian on Tuesday the 14th; the East Antrim Branch will host the Area show jumping on Monday, July 20th at the Meadows EC; Ballydrum Farm is the venue for the Area dressage, hosted by the Mid Antrim Branch, on Saturday, July 25th; and the Iveaghs are hosting the tetrathlon championships at Lusk EC on Sunday and Monday, July 26th and 27th. The home championships (eventing) will be hosted by the Route Branch on bank holiday Monday, August 31st at a venue yet to be confirmed.
