Ballymacads Hunt Ball

Talking of Hunt Balls, the Ballymacad Foxhounds’ Hunt Ball is on tonight (Saturday) in the lovely Virgina Lodge Hotel, owned by top chef Richard Corrigan. The blacktie fun kicks off with a champagne reception at 7pm and no doubt there will be some sore heads tomorrow for what is always a great night’s entertainment on the social calendar of this very active Co Westmeath pack.

Tara Harriers hunt trials

NOT content with the huge excitement caused by Stella Smith’s 90th birthday celebrations, marked with a special meet of The Tara Harriers at the Smith farm in Corballis, Donabate, the Tara Harriers are shortly set to return to Corballis. They will be hosting their hunter trials at Corballis, Donabate, Sunday, March 12th next.

There will be all the normal classes around a fantastic course that can cater for all levels of rider. All welcome.
